Why Are There Slight Size Differences in Our Stock Tanks?
Tank Nesting Explained
The nesting design allows three tanks to fit stacked inside one another, maximizing freight efficiency and minimizing storage requirements without compromising strength or durability. This means three tanks of the same size (diameters may vary by approx. 3 –15 cm with the biggest tank been the exact advertised size’, the size difference can be larger on the larger round tanks.
Because the tanks are designed with a slight taper — wider at the top and narrower at the base — they fit securely together while still being removable once delivered.
