For technical reasons, the diameter of the products supplied may vary approx. 10 cm to 15cm from the specified diameter. minor dents and scratches are inevitable during transport. This will not adversely affect the quality whatsoever and is part and parcel of the rustic and authentic appearance of these stock tanks.

The 5ft Oval is ideal for one person, giving you plenty of room to stretch out while keeping the water volume lower and easier to heat or cool.
If you’d like a little more space or want to enjoy the tub together, the 6ft and 7ft Ovals are perfect for up to two people. The larger sizes give you more room to relax while still working perfectly as a hot tub or cold plunge.

This depends on your starting water temperature, tank size and outdoor conditions. Smaller oval tanks will generally change temperature considerably faster than the larger round tanks.
For best performance, keep the tank covered while heating or cooling and make sure the Poolex unit has plenty of unobstructed airflow.

Yes. The ACTIVE package includes a dedicated filtration system that circulates and filters the water.
For water that is being kept in the tank for extended periods, we also recommend regular water testing and a suitable sanitising treatment such as Eco3Spa.

Not necessarily. Every setup and how it’s used is different, so there’s no single running schedule that suits everyone.
You can leave the system running continuously and use Auto mode to maintain your chosen temperature, which is a great option if you use your tub regularly and want it ready to go. Alternatively, you can run the system around your own routine and switch the heating or cooling on when needed.
The filter must always be running whenever the heater/chiller is operating, as the Poolex requires continuous water flow. To help maintain good water quality, we also recommend running the filtration system for at least 6 hours per day, even when you’re not heating or cooling.
Your ideal running schedule will depend on your tank size, frequency of use, season and desired water temperature.

No special electrical installation is normally required. Both the Poolex O’SPA 5kW Heater / Chiller and Filter Max are designed to run from a standard 230V household power supply.
Each unit requires its own power connection, and we recommend using a properly installed, RCD-protected outdoor socket suitable for use around water.
Please note: Both the Filter Max pump and Poolex O’SPA are supplied with 2-pin European plugs, so you will need a suitable EU-to-Ireland/UK plug adapter for each unit. The plugs and adapters must be kept dry and protected from the weather, either in a sheltered location or inside a suitably sized weatherproof electrical enclosure that can safely accommodate both connections.
Avoid using extension leads, multi-plug adapters or overloaded sockets. All electrical connections should be kept safely away from the tank and any areas where they could come into contact with water.
If you’re unsure about your outdoor electrical setup, we recommend having it checked by a qualified electrician before use.

The ACTIVE package is designed to be straightforward to set up, and we provide an installation guide showing how the tank, filter and Poolex system connect.
The Poolex itself requires a suitable electrical supply, and any electrical installation should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical regulations.

Yes. The ACTIVE Package is designed for outdoor use, but correct positioning and winter care are important.
The Poolex needs plenty of clear airflow around the unit, and the system must be protected against freezing conditions. Always follow the winterisation instructions if the system will not be operating during freezing weather.
The Poolex 5KW OSPA
Complete temperature control, whatever the season
Powerful cold-water performance, with heating when you want it.
The Poolex 5kW O’Spa is the temperature-control system at the heart of our ACTIVE setup. Designed for spa and plunge applications, its primary role in our system is to actively cool your stock tank and maintain consistent cold-plunge temperatures without relying on ice.
Using heat-pump technology, the O’Spa draws water from the tank and passes it through a titanium heat exchanger, where heat is extracted from the water before the cooled water is returned to the tank. The process continues until your selected temperature is reached, after which the unit automatically regulates its operation to help maintain it.
Built for Cold Plunging
Set your desired temperature and allow the O’Spa to do the rest. Instead of repeatedly adding bags of ice and dealing with constantly changing water temperatures, the system provides controlled, repeatable cooling — making it much easier to build cold-water immersion into your daily routine.
Its 5kW heat-pump system provides considerably more capability than simply circulating ambient water, actively removing heat even as the surrounding environment attempts to warm the tank.
For maximum cooling performance, we recommend using a thermal cover whenever the tank isn't in use. This dramatically reduces heat gain from the surrounding air and sunlight, allowing the O’Spa to reach and maintain lower temperatures more efficiently.
