Need to Know

Use dry, seasoned or kiln-dried hardwood for the cleanest, hottest burn. Avoid treated, painted or manufactured timber.

Always use it outdoors in a well-ventilated, open area on a stable, level and non-combustible surface. Keep it well away from buildings, fences, trees, overhanging branches and other combustible materials.

We recommend placing EMBER on a suitable non-combustible, heat-resistant surface. Do not place it directly onto combustible decking or surfaces that could be damaged by heat or escaping embers.

Yes. EMBER becomes extremely hot during use and can remain hot for a considerable time after the fire has gone out. Never touch or move it while hot.

No. Never leave an open fire unattended, particularly around children or pets.

For the first one or two uses, we recommend starting with a smaller fire and gradually building up the heat. This allows the stainless steel to come up to temperature gradually during its first heat cycles.
Once EMBER has been through its initial burns, you can build a larger fire as normal.

Stainless steel naturally expands and contracts as it heats and cools. Some heat discolouration and changes to the appearance of the steel are completely normal and will develop with use.

Ideally, allow the wood to burn down naturally and let the embers cool completely. Keep appropriate fire-extinguishing equipment or bucket of water nearby whenever the fire pit is being used.

Avoid using EMBER during strong winds or very dry conditions where sparks and embers could be carried away from the fire pit. Always follow any local fire restrictions

EMBER draws in additional air and heats it through its double-wall design. This preheated air helps reburn smoke and gases before they escape, creating a hotter, cleaner and near-smokeless fire.
