For the REFRESH Package, you can choose between our 4ft, 5ft and 6ft Oval tanks.

The 4ft Oval is our most compact option and a great choice if you want to keep things simple. Its smaller water volume means less water to drain and replace, making regular water changes quicker and more economical.

The 5ft Oval holds approximately 440 litres and is our ideal all-round option for one person, giving you plenty of room to plunge while still keeping water changes manageable.

The 6ft Oval holds approximately 530 litres and offers more room to stretch out or accommodate up to two people. Just remember that the larger the tank, the more water you'll need each time you drain and refill.

Because REFRESH doesn't include filtration, water volume is worth considering when choosing your size. If you plan on changing your water regularly, the 4ft or 5ft will generally be the most practical options.

As the REFRESH Package has no filtration system, the water will need to be changed more regularly than with our REVIVE or TRANSFORM setups.

How often depends on how frequently you use the tank, the weather and how well you look after the water. As a general guide, untreated water should be refreshed every week, or sooner if it becomes cloudy, develops an odour or collects visible debris.

You can help keep the water fresher for longer by showering or rinsing before plunging, using a lid or cover, and regularly removing leaves and debris.

If you want to keep the same water for longer, consider adding water treatment or upgrading to our REVIVE filtration system.

Not necessarily. If you’re happy to drain and refill your REFRESH tank regularly, you can keep things simple and use fresh water without adding any treatment.

If you want to keep the same water for longer, we recommend using a gentle water treatment suitable for cold tubs, such as the Eco3Spa range, and regularly checking your water quality.

DO NOT use chlorine or other harsh chemicals without a filter as this will affect the galvanised finish.

The REFRESH Package relies on the natural outdoor temperature to keep your water cool, so during the colder months in Ireland, your tank will often be naturally cold enough for a proper plunge.

During warmer weather, simply add bags of ice or reusable ice blocks to bring the temperature down further. Keeping your tank in a shaded area and using a lid or cover will also help prevent the water from warming up too quickly.

A lid isn’t essential, but we highly recommend using one. It helps keep leaves, dirt and other debris out of the water, meaning less cleaning and fresher water between plunges.

A lid can also help reduce temperature changes, keeping your water cooler during warmer weather and protecting it when the tank isn’t being used.

Absolutely. One of the great things about the REFRESH Package is that your setup can grow with you.

You can add a Filter Max filtration system later to turn your setup into a REVIVE, giving you cleaner, filtered and continuously circulating water.

If you want to take things further, you can add the Poolex O’SPA Heater / Chiller and filtration system to create a TRANSFORM setup — giving you filtered water and complete temperature control for cold plunging, with the added option of heating your tank for a warm soak.
