The hoses supplied are sectional and can be easily cut to the required length, if we haven’t already done so for you.
Safety Information
The ACTIVE package combines a galvanised steel stock tank, filtration system and electric heater/chiller. As water and mains electricity are being used together, correct installation and safe operation are essential.
Electrical Safety
The heater/chiller and filtration system must be connected to a suitable 230V electrical supply protected by an RCD.
The electrical plugs and power connections supplied with the equipment contain important built-in safety technology and protection.
DO NOT cut off, replace, rewire, modify or bypass the supplied plugs or electrical connections.
Modifying the original plug or power cable may remove or interfere with built-in safety protection and could create a serious electrical hazard.
Keep all plugs, sockets, controllers and electrical connections dry and protected from rain, splashing and standing water.
Do not handle electrical plugs or controls with wet hands or while standing in water.
Do not use damaged cables, plugs or electrical equipment. If any component appears damaged, disconnect it from the power supply and stop using the system.
Avoid extension leads, multi-plug adapters and temporary electrical connections. Where a permanent outdoor supply is required.
Water Circulation
Never operate the heater/chiller without adequate water circulation.
Before switching on the heater/chiller, make sure:
The tank contains sufficient water and always above the inlet and outlet connections in the tank.
All valves and connections are open.
The filtration system is running correctly.
Water is circulating freely through the system.
Hoses are not kinked, blocked or restricted.
Regularly clean the filter media to maintain good water flow. Restricted circulation can cause equipment faults or damage.
Safe Water Temperature
Always check the water temperature before entering the tank.
For cold-plunge use, enter gradually and avoid prolonged exposure to very cold water.
For warm-water use, avoid excessively high temperatures or extended bathing periods. Children should always be supervised around the tank.
Do not use the system if you feel unwell, dizzy, excessively cold or overheated.
General Safety
Never leave children unattended around a filled stock tank.
Do not dive or jump into the tank.
Take care when entering and exiting, as wet surfaces can become slippery. A stable, non-slip step may be required depending on the installation.
Install the tank on a firm, level surface capable of supporting the combined weight of the tank, water and users.
Keep the area around the tank clear of trip hazards, electrical cables and loose hoses.
Do not sit, stand or climb on the filtration unit, heater/chiller, hoses or plumbing connections.
Water Care
Maintain clean and hygienic water and use a suitable water-treatment system.
Regularly check water quality and replace the water when required.
Never mix water-treatment chemicals together. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for any chemicals used.
Before Every Use
Check that the water is clean and at a comfortable temperature, circulation is working normally, hoses and fittings are secure, and there are no visible leaks or damaged electrical components.
If anything appears unusual, switch the system off and investigate before entering the tank.
The ACTIVE package should always be installed and operated in accordance with the individual manufacturer's instructions supplied with each component.
